The Loss Continues

My second weigh-in has come, and I was victorious. A lose of 1.2 pounds!

Reservations Anyone?

My personal Chef is now in the throws of his culinary education. Things are going great and he is still the 2nd highest ranked student in his class! As he is currently studying nutrition, I am finding it very nice to have all my meals precisely balance according to the diet or lifestyle they are currently practicing. I'll keep you posted as progress continues. By the way, the Chef loves to take weekend reservations!

The shower is offically OFF! Oh the relief (for all involved I'm sure)!

6.2 Pounds!

In a last ditch effort to lose some weight for my upcoming wedding I decided to join Weight Watchers last week. I have been a member in the past and found that the simple idea of paying helps aide the weight loss process. (I refuse to pay to GAIN weight!) I have lost 6.2 pounds in my first week.

A Tribute to Mindy and Felecia

So, I have done my Daughter-In-Law'ish duty and let my Mother-In-Law (to be) throw me a bridal shower. YUCK!!! Anyone who knows me knows I HATE showers.

I thought I would try to minimize the agony of all of this by asking Mindy to "help" (do for) Roxanne plan it. I think the only thing I have accomplished in that request was to be sure my dear Sister has quickly gotten a 50+ year old child.

I just want to let Mindy and Felecia (and the rest of the world) know just how much I love and appreciate them. Thank you for all of your support, inspiration and dedication! You girls are the best and I am eternally grateful. I promise to take on any task either of you wish you won't have to have a hand in at your slightest request.

THANK YOU! You two are the BEST bridesmaids a bride could ever hope for and even better FRIENDS! I love you both!

As January was approaching this year I found myself hoping against hope that this would be the one that would turn, as recent past January's haven't historically been so great. So far, not so good. I am determined NOT to let it get me down though.

I want to thank everyone that has been there with loving support, quiet prayers and strong helping hands. Without you I would not be able to see that (to quote a very special person in my life) "this to shall pass." Everyone is saddled with their own burdens and troubles. Sometimes it's easy to lose perspective and feel that yours are the absolute worst - rarely the actual truth.

Thanks for helping me keep my spirits up and my heart alive!
